A while ago somebody posted information about a tool called BDinfo, to retrieve info from Blu-Ray disks.

I can't get this tool to work. Whenever I try to open a disk, I get the following error:
Index was outside the bounds of the array

I have an HP 6830s notebook with an Optiarc BC-5500S drive. There is a firmware update available from Sony, but it can't be installed on OEM drives. No firmware available from HP. I'm running Vista Business SP1.

Googling the error didn't give much helpful info. Does anybody have a clue what might be wrong?

Ok thanks, I'll try this evening with a single layer disk. I have a few of those.

Can it be a copy protection issue? Have you tried running AnyDVD in the background?

It may indeed be a copyright issue, like you stated. I would have expected some other message though.

I'll see if I can do a test with a trial version of AnyDVD HD.
