Collection number and total number not the same?

Why is there a difference between collection number and total number figures?.

If say you have 100 in a collection (collection number) why is it saying 151 in the total figure?

I have got 51 difference between the two figures! (always a plus on the total figures).

I thought it was something to do with parental controls at first - but even if disabled the figures still do not look the same....

Boxsets where it's counting all the discs in them sounds most likely.
Or, the total includes wishlist and ordered if you have any on those lists.
