It's hard to say without more specific info, like the UPCs and the Titles and what your notes said.

Title Cowboy Bebop - Vol. 2

Basically the UPC of my UK bought version didn't exist in the database so I took the French version that was there. Added/removed languages etc and made sure that it had the correct UPC and country before I submitted.
Since it was my first submission it would have been nice to know what I did wrong.
I still have one submission that hasn't been approved nor rejected for a update to the title of Cowboy Bebop Vol 1. (UPC 3-760076-631580).

Thanks in advance, Mike Did you change the currency to GBP? This is a common mistake when using another profile and changing the details. In effect, double check that you removed all 'french' things from the profile. |

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Having some feedback from whoever rejected it would have been great though. // Mike |

I agree but I believe that at present they only have a few, general descriptions they can select if appropriate when declining. Although I would love to see the ability to give personalised rejection reasons, due to the many thousand submissions, I'm not sure that it's really viable. | | | | Last edited: by Ardos |

| | Posted: | | | | @ Mike: What you were doing is called "cloning" of profiles. Here's a guide on how to do that. As DougWeb writes in his guide: "When contributing to the main database, note exactly what you did and that you did in fact verify the information on the actual discs that you own." |

I think the way that Invelos seems to like it is that the database is pretty much that the users run the database, they just provide the basic structure. So, like you've done, you come to the forums to ask what to do. That's good for a lot of people, but there are others who for various reasons don't feel comfortable in posting here. So at the very least, I think it would be a good idea to give the screeners a few more pre-defined options to choose from if they reject a submission. |

Getting feedback always helps to learn. More pre-defined options for the screeners seems a very good idea in that respect.
