Hi
I hope thats the right place for my problem.
There are many DVD informations (e.g. cast, crew, audio tracks...) missing in some of my DVD collection. You can also see it in my online collection (e.g. Rambo Trilogy, Back to the Future, Lord of the Rings, Alien ...)
The most of them are ok.
Can somebody help me ?
Thanks
Matthias

From the examples you gave (had a quick look at your online collection as well), I'm guessing it's because they're all box set profiles. If that is indeed the case, then I can say that the data isn't missing, but it's supposed to be that way. Have a look here for an explanation of how DVD Profiler deals with multi-movie-box-sets. The gist of it is that we keep the "parent" profile mostly empty, and instead track all the data in "child" profiles: one for each film in the set. So the "parent" profile for, say, the 'Back to the Future'-trilogy is indeed rather empty, but there are fully filled "child" profiles for all three movies in the set.

These child profiles are easy to find: just select the parent profile and then press CONTROL-F12. The program will then automatically check if they're available, and asks you whether you want to download them or not. You can also flag all your box sets, and then use Collection/Flagged/Check for Child Profiles to look for all of them in one go. Hope this helps?

But it could be, that there are no "child profiles" available for a box set. Or is it  ?
Because there is no child profile available for the Rambo Trilogie Steel Collection...

Could you tell us the UPC/EAN and locality of that profile?

Yes, well, it can happen. After all, this is a user-built database: if nobody bothered to contribute profiles for these films in your locality yet, then they won't be there, and you may consider having a go at creating them yourself. You might try looking for the child profiles by name first, though (the way you would normally enter a DVD by title) - maybe they're there after all. If there's really nothing useful to be found, you might try to download the child profiles from another locality, and then customize all the details to your version. Still a bit of work, but at least you've got something to start off with. Here's a guide to "cloning profiles".

From his online collection, I gather it's 4-006680-043692. He's right in that there are no child profiles attached to that set at the moment. There are various German profiles for the 'Rambo' films to be found, but they don't really look like profiles for the specific discs in this exact set, I think.

Seems you are right.

@Matthias1976: What you can do now:

I don't know this version of the Rambo trilogy. Please check whether the indivdual films have EANs of their own.

If yes, then open the "Add DVD" dialog and add them.
If not, enter the discs (in your hopefully existent) DVD drive in your computer and use the tab "Add by DiscId" in the "Add DVD" dialog.

Once you've done that you double-click on the box profile and go to the tab "Box Set Content" and assign these three discs.

Unfortunately these profiles are now rather empty. You can either edit them yourself or hope that one day someone else will do it for you.
