Those of you with some Borders stores nearby might want to check them out.  They are phasing out DVDs from some of their stores (including one of the 4 near me) and the in-stock DVDs at those stores are 50% off.  Apparently they just don't sell enough at that location to keep them (but the other stores will be keeping DVDs, so it isn't company wide).

Don't know exactly how many and where they all are, but it might be worth checking out for anyone with the time/inclination.

Borders is restructuring their dvd departments...Some stores will only carry the top best sellers and/or new releases, some will carry a reduced stock from what they have now, and some will have a full department.  I don't remember how many are actually going down to the lowest tier, but there was a fair amount.

It's all based on how many dvds each store is selling.  It's like Best Buy and their anime department...right now they are having 50% off sales on all anime in some stores as they are getting rid of that section for low selling stores.

Oh heck yeah! -- It was the coupon that got me to head toward Borders in the first place.    But the 50% at that one was better than the 40% from the coupon.  Yay adding to my Criterion collection!
