Okay, now how do I go about duplicating that so I can share with others?

Remember: If you have five dollars and Chuck Norris has five dollars, Chuck Norris has more money than you.

It's not a result of a real Google search, just someone being funny.  Link below.

Me too.  Particularly when you know that Google people do in fact have a sense of humour.

Try doing a real Google search for:

french military victories

Google responds with:

Did you mean: french military defeats ?

PS - This is NOT intended to instigate a flame war about....  er, war.

No it doesn't. It's another Google parody. If you put that into Google & press the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button it will take you to another site that mimics Google.

Heh - I actually think it's more funny when it is unintentional what Google links to...

The trick here is to now how Google indexes their sites - they do that by checking what other sites uses as link text to a particular site. So if enough people has a link in their page with the text "worlds greatest software" which links to Invelos, then eventually searching Google for "Worlds greatest software" will have Invelos as the top search result.

This does give some funny results as times. For a while, typing "Failure" as the search word and pressing "I'm feeling lucky" took you directly to a George W. Bush's bio-page on the White House site...

At about the same time, searching for "Primitiv hulemand" ("Primitive caveman") took you to a bio-page for the Danish stateminister Anders Fogh...

Uh-oh, I hope I'm not being political here...

Ugh, sorry.  However, I remember years ago that Google did return the result I detailed.

You're right though, Google returns the first result which is a parody.
