| Posted: | | | | Does a "Prosthetic Makeup for <actor name>" credit qualify for a credit as "make-up artist", "make-up effects", or nothing at all? |

| Posted: | | | | I would have thought Prosthetic Makeup would be make-up effects. Makeup for <actor name> is valid so I assume Prosthetic Makeup for <actor name> is valid as well | | | Last edited: by Rogue.9 |

| Posted: | | | | I say, since this prosthetic make-up artist worked on a certain individual we shouldn't enter him/her at all. We only should enter the prosthetic makeup designers, creators or supervisors. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

We enter Make-Up when it's for an individual so I couldn't see why prosthetic make-up would be any different | | | Last edited: by Rogue.9 |

| Posted: | | | | Even though "prosthetic make-up" is commonly entered as "Make-Up-Effects" it's in fact not covered by the contribution rules. "Make-Up-Effects" are defined as the following individual credits Quote: Make-up Effects, Special Make-up Effects [by] But if it would be entered I'd agree with Rogue.9 | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I'm voting for make-up effects. I brought this up in the rules committee, but the thread kinda died off. Seemed like almost everyone was in favor of prothetics being a M-U effects credit. I've got a ton of them in my local crew credits, waiting for the day the rule is modified and they can be included. I probably should've taken notes on which titles have them though, gonna be difficult to find them blindly. Maybe I can search for the custom field. |

| Posted: | | | | I am with Rogue. In my opinion, Prosthetic Makeup is a makeup effect. We credit makeup for individuals, so makeup effects for an individual should be o.k..
I will admit, however, that I am pushing the envelope with these new undefined credits. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
