| Posted: | | | | Ran across this credit in an episode of Dark Shadows; last in the cast list, before the crew list, is "Bat by Bil Baird". There's a giant (unconvincing) rubber bat that makes an appearance in the episode. Bil Baird was a fairly famous puppeteer back in the 1960s.
Even though it's in the cast list, I don't think it's properly a cast credit---Baird manipulated the bat, he didn't play the bat. I guess arguably it should go in crew under Creature Effects. Not sure what to do with this one. Thoughts? | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | Gard: IF it as you described it, then it is cast. It is not for you or me to determine what is or is not, we did not work on the show. It's the data, pal. I haven't bought the show yet, so I can only go by your description. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | Perhaps it's time to invoke the seldom used Cast rule regarding Puppeteers... Unless it was a real bat! | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Again tweeter, this is based soley on gard's description, but I don't see anything to back that up in the data he described. Puppeteer unless spelled out in the data would simply be an interpretation.
