| Posted: | | | | I have never used it, and probably never will. I never base my viewing on a review. I base it on genre, cast, sequel, friends recommendation, or some other stupid reason.
But the presence of the feature doesn't bother me. Maybe some users actually want this, so I'm not voting it should be dropped. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | I personally use it sometimes. I have both read and wrote some reviews for it. It wouldn't upset me if it went... but I would prefer it to stay. | | | Pete |

Though I would find it much more useful if the reviews could be DL & archived locally with the regular data for immediate access, or at least an indicator that reviews exist for that profile (perhaps on the General tab with the other status icons.) Probably also helpful would be linking the reviews in a similar way to the way profile links are handled - i.e. the option of single profile or by Title & year. This might promote more writing. Currently more often than not I get a miss or blank rating-only review, making the feature not quite useful. |

| Posted: | | | | Every weekend I watch movies... and write my opinions on them on forums and email lists... maybe I should try to get into the habit of adding my comments to the reviews on DVDP as well. | | | Pete |

Although I don't use them, I do agree that they aren't in a prominent place & we don't easily know if a specific title has one or not. |

| Posted: | | | | Keep'em, but... Reviews need to be more accessible - perhaps the Layout editor should allow for display of our own review plus an "Add/Edit Review" button - right in the profile display, so we'll be nagged by the empty space of reviews we haven't filled out yet. |

| Posted: | | | | I always use the simple one, locally. Don't care for the DVD review, only film.
I'd like it to be uploaded automaticly, and maybe have one color for my vote, and one color for online votes. | | | Last edited: by Gemini76 |

| Posted: | | | | Honestly it's a feature I forgot was even there.
While I don't really listen to reviews for movies I'm really interested in, I do sometimes read reviews for films that I'm on the fence about.
So I would like it to remain. |

I do the exact thing too, in fact on one forum regulary and another one only for the "real" adult films. Since most of my movies aren't in the database I can't post them and too be honest my english isn't that great for having my reviews appear on something commercial and official. |
