I'm not interested in printing original disc art, but rather simple titling, mostly in a single region of the disc, for having neater looking backup discs.

I've seen several affordable products out there, but if anyone has discussed / reviewed them on these forums, I'd appreciate a link to the thread.

TIA.

I would suggest staying away from the printable stickers. I did this to bunch of customs and had to remake them, as the sticker would throw the disc off balance and cause it to lock up while playing. They look great, but play crappy.

I'd suggest getting one of those printers that prints right on the disc. Blanks will probably cost more, but you won't have to worry about making as many nice looking coasters.
The lightscribe discs are pretty cool too.

I use Ink-Jet printable discs and have an Epson Color Stylus printer (R220 which is no longer being made, but the R280 is the upgrade version of it) that can print directly to the discs and comes with software to layout what I print to the disc.

Supermediastore is selling three relatively affordable machines that look like they will print on the TY silver lacquer discs:

Teac P-11 Thermal DVD/CD Printer
U-Print CDP78 Thermal DVD / CD Disc Printer
Stampa (STDP1) Thermal DVD/CD Disc Printer

They all look like the same thing, rebadged.

Anyone heard about how these do?
