I'm a sucker for shark flicks, the cheesier the better, and this looks to have the potential to upset Shark Attack 3: Megalodon as the best shark-cheese-fest ever, a feet I didn't think possible until viewing the trailer. I will own this one day, but it'll probably be used down the road. So have a nice profile waiting for me please. Remember, it's O.K. to have fun flicks like this in your collection. Not something I'd throw in when intelligent in-laws are visiting, but when me and my silly buds get together to smoke things some say we shouldn't and need something fun and outrageous to watch, this looks to be a perfect choice! Plus after watching a bud's screener of Hammerhead ("Half man, half shark, total terror!" Best ripped-off tagline ever)), I know this can't sink that low. |

At Best Buy it is listed on backorder 1-2 weeks wait for delivery, at Amazon they ask you to sign-up for when it becomes available, and it is not even listed at DeepDiscount as far as I can tell. I was supposed to be released on 5-19-2009. Rory (I have added it to my Wish List.  .) ** Update** Just checked The Asylum's website, Release Date has changed to 5-26-09. | | Posted: | | | | I forgot to add that I had sworn off Asylum "movies" as they usually suck. First one I saw was decent, but everything else has been bad rip-offs of in theater horror or sci-fi flicks. I will break my boycott for giant sharks though, and what should be a somewhat original idea. I mean, there's no other shark v octopuss movie for this to rob. It has to be better than Dino-Croc and/or Super-Croc! |
