I just read today about a planned remake starring Johnny Depp as Barnabas, apparentlya likely cameo from Jonathan frid as well.

Skip I am fond of Johnny Depp( check out my avatar of Johnny as the Mad Hatter..awesome) so i think Depp as Barnabas might be kinda cool!  |
