Bug or oversight when contributing uncredited cast |

| | Posted: | | | | When you contribute uncredited cast, you need to check a box with a reminder to provide proper documentation.
However, when uncredited cast is included in a new profile (with documentation), the check box does not appear (as there are actaully no choices you can make in what to contirbute), and the uncredited cast is not included in the online data. No comment, no actual decision, just automatic. | | | | Hans |

For me, it works perfectly: even for a completely new contribution, the system DOES notice that my profile includes (uncredited) entries, and subsequently, the contribution screen DOES display the warning and the checkbox asking me whether I want to include it in the contribution or not. I've done loads of contributions this way, sometimes leaving my (uncredited) entries out, sometimes documenting them and including them - never any problems. |

| | Posted: | | | | I agree that this appears to be inconsistent, since I have seen both behaviours.. I think the same happens with the BY box, sometimes it is not displayed, but then later someone complains that the entry with the BY is not actually in the "approved" list in the forum (which of course not everybody will realize even exists). The difference is that the BY got in, but these uncredited cast didn't.

| | Posted: | | | | On a recent audit of Natural Born Killers (theater cut from the Stone boxset), I dragged the cast from the Director's Cut in (which I audited a week or 2 ago so I know it's good, except maybe some uncredited), then double-checked against the credits of the theater disc. All cast and crew were the same, but the new profile shared about 5 uncredited then had another 4-5 that weren't there before. I got no check box for uncredited when I submitted it.
Thankfully I know at least 3/4 of them are correct from when I used to watch this movie twice a week. | | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

The checkbox only appears when the current profile has no (uncredited) entries, and your contribution has. It'll only appear when there weren't any before - which automatically includes new profiles. Ahhhh, I thought it would just be there whenever any new uncredited was added or attempted to add. This makes sense. |
