It's finally out, the teaser trailer of James Cameron's anticipated new movie.

link

So, what do you think?

I've always been a great Cameron fan and he never let me down, so I have a lot of faith in his new movie. The teaser looks amazing, although I have some reservations about the used CGI, but I guess you'll have to see it in 3D.

having a lot of trouble to get this to play.. The link says i need Quicktime.., which I do, but I installed quicktime again.. and then nothing ,, so I went back to your link and it loaded  the site again, but  still says I need quicktime.
So I opened up Quicktime on its own website  and it has  failed to find Avatar anywhere..
The one site I did find says as of August 21st (today) the trailer in 3D will be available at certain IMAX houses around the country ..

Then go for a torrent download. Looks like the Apple site still has problems.

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Much better,,  Ok my thoughts:
Looks like Final Fantasy   Rescues  Jar Jar Binks who then escapes and  falls in Love ..

What is this a cartoon or what??

According to this article it's -

I've read rave reviews about the 20 min. footage screenings in Digital 3D.
Anyone seen it?

Had trouble shutting Quicktime down but that is a technical issue.

The trailer - very nice to a point. I'm rather tired of CGI but I guess that is what we will have to expect for the future. The aliens look like something out of anime or some fantasy comic book. I for one feel let down a bit.  Maybe, the 3D aspect will make up for this but I don't know.

How many freaking years does it take to complete this thing? At this rate others will probably trump him with their own projects and steal his thunder.

He might spare some of his time and oversee a proper transfer to BD of The Abyss, which many of us have waited for for some time.  Heck, even a anamorphic DVD release should have come our way long before now but from what I've read he will not let further remasterings and releases out without his involvement or at least his approval.  Come on Jimmy!
