So far, really enjoying it.  My old phone was relatively vanilla.  It had a nice camera and could play .mp3s, but had no storage until I put a 2GB microSD chip into it.  After my brother and his wife bought their iPhones the night before, I decided it was time to get mine (especially since we seem to be closing in on the DVD Profiler app).  Amazingly, since we are already on the AT&T plan, it only costs $30 more a month.

One question I had was about the apps out there.  On Tuesdays, I print an Excel table with the DVD/Blu-ray titles I am looking for, with their SRP, prices listed at the Best Buy website and ad, and the Target ad prices.  Are their any apps that would let me create a checklist on my PC (since typing out all that info on the iPhone would be too time consuming) and include that price info, then upload to the iPhone?

I'm sure there are apps for that.  But the quickest and easiest solution would simply be to email that list to yourself.  You could even email yourself the spreadsheet and open that on your phone.  But I've found opening spreadsheets on my 3G to be fairly slow.

If you have Outlook on your computer, you could export a text file from your spreadsheet and copy and paste the text into a Note in Outlook. Then have iTunes sync your Notes with the phone and it will show up in the Notes app on the iPhone. Another option, that requires buying an app from the app store is to purchase an app called "Files". That lets you move many types of files onto the iPhone over your home wifi network and then access them through the app on the iPhone. it can open most Office files.

I have sync'd with Outlook and didn't even consider using the Notes there.  Good idea.  I normally copy the Excel table to a Word doc and print that (in case I need to add additional notes).  I am planning on buying a couple of apps later and something that opened Microsoft Office docs and .pdfs is at the top of the list.  I look into "Files".

The iPhone itself will open Office document and PDF files, so don't waste your money on something just to open them.  You can either email them to yourself or use some other method to get them on the phone.  I use an app called Air Sharing, but there are tons of options some of which are free.

Mainly I just use email.

I used "Air Sharing" as well until they hobbled the version I bought and created a more expensive version, that re-emables features that were there when I first got it. "Files" does the same thing that Air Sharing did, but is cheaper and full featured.
