| Posted: | | | | Good day, Sirs,
the crew chart lists, among others, Visual Effects Supervisor and Visual Effects Director.
Couldn't we just for once allow a "Visual Effects Art Director" to pass through? There is no Visual Effects Director.
And what is usually the difference in practice between Visual Effects Supervisor, Visual Effects Director and Visual Effects Art Director?

Using this logic i could also interchangeably credit a film's Art Director as a Director and vice versa. No thanks. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! | | | Last edited: by tweeter |

| Posted: | | | | I would have to agree with the others... but then I personally do not add anyone unless it is in that chart word for word. | | | Pete |

Do you mean to say that Visual Effects Art Director isn't a kind of Visual Effects Director, but a kind of Art Director? The omniscient Wikipedia describes a Visual Effects Art Director as "responsible for conceptualizing and designing visual effects shots". "Director". "Designer". That really sounds like a justified "Visual Effects" contribution. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

You can ignore that input or, my preference, you can go with the majority and keep it local. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
