As most of you know I enjoy HD Television, and using my PVR I recorded 1976 A Star Is Born.. ( I know,, Lame movie,, but wanted to see it in HI Def) So the opening of the first few minutes stuttered and and froze for a few minutes and then restarted again.. But with this ONE frame of information I was able to isolate for us to view..

I'm a curious type guy and am curious to know if we have any Television people on board here who can help decipher this for me.. I wanted to know:
TRT 76:58.,, Ch 1 LT Ch.2 RT Ch.3 LT M&E  etc etc.. here  Are these Audio notes??

In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

Oh fun!

TRT = total running time.

Seems like 8 audio channels: channel 1 is left, channel 2, right, channels 3 & 4 = "Music and Effects" (sometimes called DM&E for Dialogue, Music and Effects).

I guess you need two more channels to get Dolby 5.1 (6 channels).

Only thing I could find for MOS was this: "Mit Out Sound" (not a joke). Maybe means they are silent? (Confirmed by Michael A - thanks!)

(I think Google was in hyperdrive on that one ... I smelled smoke ...  )
Thanks for your support.

Thanks media..
Seems funny too , that back in 2004 they (modern video film?) were remastering HD prints for This movie that has yet today seen the light of DVD on BlueRay ..

thanks !!

Mediadog is right - for an audio spec, "MOS" means a silent track, used on this ID board to indicate to the tape operator that Channel 7 & 8 on this master have nothing recorded onto them.
