I usually try to watch these:

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Black Christmas
Christmas Evil
Silent Night, Bloody Night
Silent Night, Deadly Night

1 part comedy, and 4 parts of horror.

Silent Night, Bloody Night really needs a quality DVD release.

It isn't the Yuletide season without:
- The Nutcracker (Mikhail Baryshnikov)
- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
- Santa Claus is Coming to Town
- Frosty the Snowman
- It's Christmas, Charlie Brown
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas

December is Christmas movie month for us.  We'll try to get in some variety from this selection:
- Barbie in A Christmas Carol
- Barbie in The Nutcracker
- A Christmas Carol (Alastair Sim)
- A Christmas Carol (Patrick Stewart)
- Christmas in Connecticut
- Holiday Inn
- I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown
- It's a Wonderful Life
- Joyeux Noel
- Meet Me in St. Louis
- Miracle on 34th Street
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- The Polar Express
- Santa Buddies
- The Shop Around the Corner
- White Christmas
- The Year Without a Santa Claus
- A Christmas Story

(edited 'cause I forgot some  )

With the exception of Deck the Halls which i have never seen(that has Danny DeVito in it right?) those 4 are some of my favorites. I also like A Christmas Story(one of my all time favorite movies) I also enjoy some animated classics that i grew up watching and now my kids watch: How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Mickey's Christmas Carol and Claymation Christmas.
