| Posted: | | | | Just to go on record, Gerri, can you please confirm that Ken did not intend to exclude audio track information in DVDP when the DVD has no audio menu but does have an audio track on the DVD.
There are literally thousands of DVDs (older movies and TV shows) which only have a default audio track (typically English: Mono) with no capability for the user to select or deselect it.
Thank you. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | That is correct. If there is a default audio track, then it is contributable regardless if it has a method to select or not (I guess it is selectable by just playing the DVD ). Basically, Ken was meaning to exclude those that take hardware modifications, etc to make them available. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

Skip Ahem. I wasn't going to chime in, but you made me. Let me quote you: Quoting Woola: Quote: Quoting hal9g:
Quote: Are you seriously suggesting that for all old movies and TV shows where there is no Audio menu at all, that we should not enter "English: Mono" for instance, in DVDP. That is correct, Hal. And Gerri backed it up. There you go: Hal was flabbergasted at your ridiculous misinterpretation, and asked you to confirm whether such audio tracks really shouldn't be entered. Your firm "That is correct, Hal. And Gerri backed it up." really doesn't leave you much room to crawl back now. I'm sorry, but you are the one person this clarification is meant for. The rest of us never had any doubt. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

Skip And he never posted otherwise. He asked a question, got a quick answer from Gerri and the thread ends. Great isn't it? Now just imagine if this could be rolled out |

Thanks Gerri. Just making sure that I hadn't gone completely crazy! | | | Hal | | | Last edited: by hal9g |

Pardon, tim. The subject at hand was Subtitles, not Audio, I missed that.
