| Posted: | | | | Hi! There are two different Box Sets of Spiderman Trilogie in Germany. The one with the chrome Spider on front cover and the other one with spiderman on front cover. These two edition have different EAN. The Profile for the edition with spiderman on front has coverscans of the chrome edition for the individual discs. I think this is not right. Shouldn't it have the scans from the single covers included in this set? As I mentioned, the chrome edition has different EAN. If I'm right, I will upload the covers this evening. | Posted: | | | | Could the problem be shared disc-ids if the child profiles don't use EAN's?
(Just a guess, I don't use child profiles so not familiar with them), |

DVD Profiler seems not to be able to show the child profiles of the two boxes at the same time since they have the same disc ID (and no EAN). I see no child profiles for the other box. All three child profiles have the cover of the 'chrome Box' (EAN 4030521710849) since this is a digipak. The other box with separate cases is a later release. |

That's because the child profiles can only belong to one parent at a time. Since you already have them attached to the first box set, they will not display in the chrome set. As pet42 says, if your set is a later release, where they used the same exact discs, you will have to make your own scans and keep them local. The online must have the covers that match the first release. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Maybe we (or invelos) can find a solution for this problem, not everybody has a scanner and therefor non matching covers to these second releases. Perhaps we can associate the child covers with the EAN of the Box and not the disc id. Would be a solution for , at least, boxes with different EAN. To not be misunderstood, rules are a must have, no question about that, but they should not prevent having matching covers. |

| Posted: | | | | With what can be in the database (only 1 set of images) I think this is a good rule. It should be the original release. Ideally Ken will make it so we can have more then 1 cover art for each UPC or Disc ID... but until then... the only suggestion I can make is the Re-Release Cover Art Thread. That is where a handful of us is sharing re-release artwork. And everything sent in can be added to the site the thread points to. | | | Pete |
