Hi, I have looked everywhere (well obviously I am missing something) but can not work out how to ADD a DVD to my collection that is not found on the online database?

Is there a button I push or??

Regards, Ken

If it is not found in the on-line database, it has to be created from scratch.  This is a user built db so, every profile in the on-line, was created by a user.

Just out of curiosity, what is the title of the film you are trying to add?
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Select Add DVD to Collection as usual.  You can add an unknown DVD by UPC/EAN or by Title.  On the "Add by UPC" or "Add by Title" tab, uncheck the "Download profile from Invelos" box in the lower left, fill in the blank fields, then just click the Add DVD button to continue personalizing.

Hi Vikingbear.

The way I do it is this:

First do the same as adding any DVD to your collection:
Click on DVD and "Add DVD to collection"
Type in the UPC.

If the UPC is not recognised (says "Title: (unknown) ?" below the inputted code):
Make sure it's correct
If it is; click on "Add DVD" button anyway (as you do to add known DVDs)
Click "yes" to continue in pop up box

Write in the DVD's UPC, title, Region and locality yourself.
You can check the "Edit this profile now" checkbox if you want to add other details to this new DVD.

If you do choose to add all the DVD details yourself (straight away or later), then you can contribute the DVD to the database collection. This is how all of the other DVDs got into the collection in the first place!
