| Posted: | | | | Okay, I'm going through IMDBing all of my cast and crew, and updating profiles to the database as I go along (calm down, people, I'm only submitting CoO, MC, Rating and details, that sort of thing. No IMDB data ). Anyway, I came across a slight issue with Cop Land and was wondering how I should submit it. The UPC is 786936236675. The current title of the film is "Cop Land: Exclusive Director's Cut". Now, obviously that is not right, but I can see why it was done: Only "Exclusive Director's Cut" or "Miramax Collector's Series" will fit in the edition field (unless I'm doing something wrong). So, this leads the to the question of what should go in the edition field? "Exclusive Director's Cut", "Miramax Collector's Series" or something else? I tend to lean towards Exclusive Director's Cut, but I can submit whatever the majority says. Either way, though, "Exclusive Director's Cut" should come off the title I would think, as it's not accurate. (Even in the credits on the back of the box it is just "Cop Land"). | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

| Posted: | | | | For cases like this, and it has been discussed before, we tend to go with the one that provides the best information. "Exclusive Director's Cut" tells us more than "Miramax Collector's Series" does, so I would go with that. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Looks like the vote is overwhelmingly that, as well.
Will submit today. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com
