| Posted: | | | | The Farscape thread reminded me of a question I had.
Is there a way to download all the child profiles at once, without having to click through.
For example, I just purchased the complete series of "Homicide", and it has a ton of child profiles. Is it possible to do one click to accept all, or do you have to do each one individually? | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

| Posted: | | | | I know (which I did) you can turn off the prompt for downloading any DVD profiles.
Not sure about the Children though.

| Posted: | | | | Pretty sure at this point you can only do one at a time... Pretty sure that with Kathy's suggestion it only checks for that title you happen to be highlighting. So unless this is a feature in the new beta that I'm unaware of, you'll be stuck checking one by one. | | | "The perfect is the enemy of the good." - Voltaire |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks, all, but my wording of my question was suck, so you answered the question, but not the one I was asking. Let me try again: I purchase Homicide, and add it to my collection. Upon adding it, it says: "Child profiles are available, would you like to download them?" I say Yes. Then it goes through the process of downloading each child profile for Homicide, to which I hit "Yes" on each one. Is there a way for me to just blindly accept all the child profiles for one title? Meaning it would go like this: I add Homicide to my collection. It asks if I want to download the children and I say of course I do. Then I hit YES (or okay) ONCE and it downloads ALL of the profiles as opposed to me hitting yes on each child profile. Does that make sense? | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

| Posted: | | | | My guess is if you are not personalizing your entries as you DL them it will just add the children all at once, at least any children associated with the disc you are grabbing at the time.
There is an option somewhere to personalize as you add to you collection. Try turning that off and see if that works. |

| Posted: | | | | I've used the methods listed and only ever had to enter "yes" (or whatever) once to get all the child profiles. I think... Edit: I just tried to enter Homicide into my database. Add DVDs to Owned and on that screen, on the lower left side of the pop up, is the tick box lyonsden5 mentioned. When it is NOT ticked, the child profiles come up and you only have to hit "yes" once. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |
