| Posted: | | | | There is a contribution up for vote. I want to make sure that I am voting the correct way and for the correct reason.
The contribution is for "DOOM:Unrated Extended Edition Widescreen" upc 025192-031229
It is checking the deleted scenes features.
Now, I will contend that deleted scenes are included in this DVD release, it has an extended shooting scene that was not in the theatrical version, but is included within this version
Is this the true meaning of deleted scenes? If this is the case, then any release that is not the theatrical release would need the deleted scenes checkbox checked.
Am I looking at this the wrong way???

| Posted: | | | | From the rules:
Deleted Scenes, Alternate Scenes, Alternate endings available through a separate menu option, and not incorporated into the main feature or a documentary.
Scenes added to create extended editions do not qualify as they are incorporated into the main feature. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Charlie As The martian Noted, the answer is NO, you are not looking at a deleted scene. As tthe EDITION notes: it IS Unrated Extended Edition Widescreen, which most of the times indicates that is incorpiorating film material which was not in the theatrical release, but it is not a deleted scene by our definition. That is what I thought, but sometimes the rules are interpreted screwy.
I always like to be sure to have the facts before I vote.
