Just want to check that i did this correctly, i created disc level profiles for the TV series of Planet of the Apes

The only thing printed on the disc's themselves was DVD 1, DVD 2, DVD 3 & DVD 4

So i simply took the Titles from the already existing Parent profile and just amended it with DVD 1, DVD 2 and so on, is this the correct way to do this?

Planet of the Apes: The Complete TV Series: DVD 1

I'm asking because there is a contribution that was changing it to "Disc One" (from the Episode Booklet) i voted "No" stating that "what is printed on the disc is correct" so today they have again contributed this time changing the disc descriptor to "Volume 1" which is what you see in the disc menu's on screen, so in case's like this were do you take the Disc descriptor/Identifier from?
Just want to check that i am voting correctly on this

Disc 1, Disc 2, Disc 3 is the more commonly found way of doing this. But....

That's how i would do it, but i understand your point.

If there wasn't anything there then I would accept any of the variants used. If there's already one in the Online I wouldn't change it.

As this isn't really covered in the rules, anything is suitable as long as it makes sense.

I personally would have put 'DVD 1', 'DVD 2' (etc.) as it is printed on each disc's label. 'Disc 1', 'Disc 2' (etc.) is also perfectly acceptable, however.

BTW, nine based on your images Disc ONE would clearly be incorrect.

Correct, it should be "DVD 3" or "Disc 3"

So in case's like this where the disc's are not individually packaged ignore what is printed on the disc's themselves and simply take the title from the front cover and amend "Disc 1" "Disc 2" and so on as the disc's identifier

Is there anything printed on the disc menus?  If not, then I would do it as everyone else suggested.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
