Just wondered how you guys and girls watch seemless brancehd movies, where there's both theatrical and extended cuts on the same disc. For me, when I bought i.e. Alien Quadrilogy on DVD, I first saw the extended cut, on all, and after a while I saw the theatrical cut. I have watch the Alien series 4 times, so I make a note of what I saw last and then switch to the opposite version. How do you guys and girls do it?

I don't have that many of them but I tend to watch the longer version unless the scenes don't really fit in and disturb the flow of the story.

In general I also tend to watch the longest versions only, even if they are not always the best versions (e.g. Terminator 2).

Ditto.

Can not add more to that anwser, only that I watch the extended version because I hope the director made it a better movie (because he/she added some important scenes to develop the story).

Extended only for me too. Only movie I did otherwise was LoTR because I didn't have the patience to wait for the extended additions to come out...

Only thing that bothers me is when they actually change scenes for the extended additions. Like completely cut out a scene and put in a whole new one. I realized they did that for the special edition of Alien 3. Only reason I found out about it was due to the Special Features I watched and actually liked the scene they took out better.

If I'm reviewing the movie (and/or I haven't seen the movie before), the theatrical first. If I have seen it before in theaters, then I'll watch the extended version.

This.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.

We will teach it to them again.
