| Posted: | | | | OK... I just got back from Big Lots and picked up 2 DVDs ($3 each) But it looks like both profiles need some work. Here is what is in the database now... Comedy Double Feature: My Blue Heaven & The Man with Two Brains Region 1 Released: 1/31/2006 Full Frame 1.33 Passenger 57 / Boiling Point All Regions Released: 1/31/2006 Full Frame Now I am not 100% sure what the titles on these should be. I am pretty much thinking... Title: My Blue Heaven / The Man With Two Brains Edition: Comedy Double Feature and... Title: Passenger 57 / Boiling Point Edition: Action Double Feature So is that correct? (I am thinking yes anyway)... or should it be... Title: Comedy Double Feature: My Blue Heaven / The Man With Two Brains Edition: Noneand... Title: Action Double Feature: Passenger 57 / Boiling Point Edition: NoneSomehow that just don't seem right to me. But for the life of me I can't remember what was decided in cases such as these. | | | Pete |

Honestly, it's the first thing I check when I'm at the bargain bin... I know what you mean... I normally try to remember to check too... but I caught a ride with my brother... and he was out waiting in the car so I was rushing myself. So I somehow let it slip my mind. Oh well... at least I didn't waste too much money. And Thanks All... that is what I thought... just wanted to be sure! | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

Me too....but only having been burned a couple of times like poor Pete! I usually check this myself too. But occasionally a DVD has stated anamorphic widescreen on the box, and it has still turned out to be Full Frame. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | OK... I have a problem with the Comedy Double Feature. I already made the Action Double Feature into a boxset. But the Comedy Double Feature...
My Blue Heaven: The single movie FF release is is in the database under both the UPC and Disc ID. I downloaded the Disc ID... then Changed it to the UPC that is on the cover-art for it... and then I compared the 2 by previewing changes. And the 2 profiles are identical except one of the two has a few uncredited cast members.
The Man With Two Brains: Once again it is under both the Disc ID and UPC for this title... I checked the differences just like I did the title above. And once again... the only difference is a couple uncredited cast members.
I don't know... but it seems like the only reason these were added as Disc ID profiles is because someone wanted to keep the Uncredited cast.
Problem is this is stopping me from making a boxset out of my disc as the rules says I should. Now if there was a real difference in the profiles I would just not bother and do my own thing locally for mine.
But... in this case where there seems to be no "real" reason for disc ID versions I wonder if I should attempt to replace the Disc ID profiles for this set.
What do you think? Should this be fixed? Or Should I say the heck with it... it isn't worth it and do my own thing locally? | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Were those 2 discs part of a different box set?
Could you just not use the existing disc-id profiles in your boxset? |
