| Posted: | | | | I don't know if this has been talked about, so here it goes.
I think that blu-ray front cover submissions might be done without the blu-ray logo on top for those of us who don't want it, and for those that do you could always turn them on in the program, of course their will be some exceptions like digibook covers. |

| Posted: | | | | Indeed, as already said, if the logo is actually part of the cover then it should be included. What you shouldn't do is to just place the whole HD Keep/HD Slim on the scanner and scan that - It does happen!! |

This is what I'm talking about, just in reguarding someone putting the whole HD Keep/HD Slim on the scanner and scanning it And the light bulb goes off. This isn't supposed to happen as it is forbidden by the rules. HD DVD and Blu-Ray discs in either HD Slim or HD Keep Case type cases without slip covers should be scanned without the HD banner. If someone is scanning the whole case, simply vote 'no' citing the rule. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. When someone adds a title that has not been released if that is the only promotonal art the MC has released that sometimes gets accepted until the actual release when someone will usually scan the real cover. |

| Posted: | | | | If you scan a Blu-ray cover, you remove it from the Keepcase before scanning it. You just scan the actual cover, not the case. If the Blu-ray has a slipcover you scan that and if it comes in a specialty case, like the Digibooks you scan the actual Digibook. You also have to watch the Profiler media/cover settings as they can screw up what get's displayed. | | | Last edited: by TheDarkKnight |

This is what I'm talking about, just in reguarding someone putting the whole HD Keep/HD Slim on the scanner and scanning it <sigh> This was talked about when BD first came out. There was much inconsistency, and still is, in both built-in BD banners on the case and the ability to get decent scans. That is WHY Ken built the banners that re now part of the program, that way we have a banner which is consistent and looks good. Now obviously there are covers where the banner is actually a part of that cover and not the case, then you should scan that cover and the banner. Skip<twitching> | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
