I submitted a new profile for Angel of Death: Unrated & Unedited. There is already a version in the database, but mine had a different UPC.

My notes:

Quote:
This is a new profile.

This is virtually the same as UPC 043396-314214 that is already in the database. The only difference is the cover.

Scanned a new cover and submitting as new profile.

Thanks!!

Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were non-specific. Please specify the exact source for your changes. (e.g. "Credits from film end credit list", "Previous version UPC#1111111111")

What am I missing?

I know it seems a bit nit picky, and it might have to do with the sheer volume of contributions due to the new features, but you didn't actually state that you took the cast and crew from the other version.  You said it was "virtually the same," so were non-specific.

Just recontribute and say that you took the cast and crew from the previous version UPC#043396-314214.

Okay, will do, thanks!

I actually have two declined for the same reason, but one I didn't put the other UPC, so I figured I'd get my eggs in a basket before resubmitting both.

Thanks again.

I would also double check to be sure there is no Uncredited Cast. This could also be a reason.

If there would be uncredited cast, you get a checkbox. Without flagging, the uncredited cast won't be contributed.

But a double check is always good. (For every contributed detail)

Since he said that the release was virtually the same as another UPC... he could of thought that would have covered the Uncredited Cast. That is why I mentioned it.

This. And one, in fact, does have uncredited cast (the one I did not submit the alternate UPC for -- Halloween 2).

I'll double check the profiles when I get home and resubmit.
