I am not sure if many other people would get anything out of this idea... but it is something I been thinking about for a while and would help me out quite a bit.

This would mainly be for TV Shows but I could also see a need for it for a lot of those big 50+ movie boxsets out there. Especially if there is 2 or more movies per side of a disc. See I for one will jump from set to set as the mood hits... even before finishing a sing disc in a set at times.

I was thinking an HTML Window or Plugin (whatever works is cool by me) that would list the episodes/movies. Maybe taking episodes from the simple episode list in overview if that is possible... or enter it ourselves is cool too.

Next to each episode/movie title be something like a check box... date input... what ever you think could work so we can check it off as we watch each title. That way if we want to go back to that set days, weeks, months... even years later we can see right where we left off and just continue watching from there.

What I see being the hard part here would be that the window would have to be able to remember the check marks or whatever we use... even after closing the program and reopening it. Possible? I don't know... but I am sitting here going by what our friend Muckl said to me when I mentioned an add on to the trivia html window he created. He said... "Impossible only means that you haven't found a solution yet "

I was also thinking maybe there could be a clear all button... that way once we complete the set... we can clear them all and be ready for when we decide to re-watch the sets.

I myself know nothing at all about coding so that is why I am asking here... what do you think? Anyone here think they can make such a thing work?

I use my CCViewer for this.
You can enter the episodes in the TV view and assign it to movies in the Movie view. A lot of TV seasons are available via the update function already.
For each episode you can enter cast/crew, watch dates, links etc. (essentially almost everything which you can enter for a movie profile).

The movie profile part is simply updated via importing the Profiler XML.

I appreciate that Tom... but I really looking for something a bit less involved then that. A simple list with just check marks and a clear all button would be ideal for me. Plus I prefer it to be all in one program if at all possible.

A quick-and-dirty workaround could be to used the "Watched by" feature and include a Note mentioning where you left off. Then when you start watching again you can just check the Watched history to refresh your memory.

Thanks for the idea... but I don't want to over inflate my watched count. As of right now I am just using notes to list the last episode watched. But I already use notes for some many things... I would like to try something different.
