I am trying to update the DVD Release on a contribution that was recently approved, but I keep receiving the following error:
This profile cannot be contributed due to the following errors:
The SRP denomination type is incorrect.
If applicable, please check these items and make any necessary corrections, then try the contribution again.
The release in question is Hong Kong The Magnificent Seven Blu-ray Disc (UPC: 4717415182110). The SRP is currently 0.00 and in Hong Kong Dollars. I want to update it to an SRP of 44.99 as well as change the DVD Release. When I try to do either, I get this error. I cannot for the life of me figure out why.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting pcarnette: Quote: The release in question is Hong Kong The Magnificent Seven Blu-ray Disc (UPC: 4717415182110). There's your problem. This profile is currently listed in the U.S. locality. You shouldn't submit data for a Hong Kong locality blu-ray to a U.S. locality profile. While the system isn't always able to recognize the difference, it can in the case of the SRP: you can't contribute an SRP in Hong Kong Dollars to a U.S. locality profile. So how did this happen? Well: you accidentally contributed this profile into the U.S. locality, while you should have set it to "Hong Kong". You can create a new, Hong Kong locality profile by changing the locality under the "DVD" menu, option "Change Locality". Then you can re-contribute the profile, and you'll have no more SRP problems. Unfortunately, this erroneous old profile will remain in the database, until you or someone else gets Invelos to remove it. |

| Posted: | | | | That message indicates the locality of the profile doesn't match the SRP denomination type. Check the locality via DVD->Change Locality.
EDIT: Zombie...tooo... slow... Need... more... brainz!!!
But I will add that to remove the erroneous profile, just submit an update under the erroneous UPC/locality with "Delete Me" as the title and a contribution note stating it's the wrong locality. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks guys! Damn. I have changed the Locality, submitted the new profile, and in that submission I attempted to explain the issue and request the US Locality version of the profile be deleted. |
