| Posted: | | | | Has there ever been a consensus reached on this situation when the Slip Cover has a different EAN than the Case inside?. How should it be handled,
1] Just create a complete profile for the Slip Cover EAN and ignore the case inside
2] Create complete profiles for both EAN's
3] Treat like a Box Set, minimum info for the Slip Cover and Complete info for the case inside (Add it to the Slip Case profile like a Box Set)
Don't have a preference myself just wondering how you think these should be treated |

I would make a profile for each UPC, but no box set. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. | Posted: | | | | We just had this discussion. It's not a box set. You can create one or two complete profiles. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Locally i'd use the Slip Cover UPC and create a complete profile, since the case UPC contents wise is probably exactly the same i might create a profile for this as well for people who buy this title without Slip. That profile would be deleted (locally) as soon as it was accepted though.

Paul Agreed! But the the case profile could feature a different release date and SRP and of course a different cover scan. |

| Posted: | | | | Since we can't check more than one option I chose "Other".
1 and 2 are allowed options, which one you pick is more a matter of personal preferences and not a matter of correct or incorrect. I would in no way treat this as a boxset, simply because it contains only one movie. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I'd create separate profiles for both as it wouldn't be too much extra work to change the UPC and cover scans.
I would in no way treat it as a boxset. A slip cover with only a different UPC does not a boxset make, in my opinion that is. | | | The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play. |
