| Posted: | | | | I came across a strange thing this morning. There is a title that doesn't not show up in the Unvoted Pending Updates page or the All Pending Updates page however if you click on the contribution notes for it there is a pending update that I can vote on. Has anyone else ever come across this? |

| Posted: | | | | Ken recently made a change that allowed contributions that are up for review votable (such as those containing BYs). Quote: As a side note, those in reviewing status can now (as of today) be voted on. Perhaps he forgot to make them visible? |

Perhaps he forgot to make them visible? What does it mean when contributions are in "reviewing status"? | | | ...James

| Posted: | | | | It's where the contribution is sent to a next level of screening for review... I believe this happens for new Birth Years added to the database. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I wonder if there isn't some form of bug floating around in the contribution system. For one thing Every so often I get a contribution where I never had the chance to vote on it (This has been every since the first days of voting on contributions so not caused by the BY thing).. And then I see a lot of times when I update all the child profiles for a TV Series where one of the discs gets no votes or significantly less votes for no apparent reason. Here is an example I have going now... All 5 updates above has the same exact changes... yet for some reason the last one is was only seen by one of the 5. All 5 were uploaded at the same basic time... all within a minute or two... and I watched the votes go up one at a time on discs 1-4... the 5th disc didn't get any votes until disc 1-4 got it's 5th vote. So it seems like most the people couldn't even see the update for the 5th disc. And no there is no birth year or anything like that added. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | What about asking some of the disc 1-4 voters, if they can see the contribution? No other idea - sorry! | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | The above mystery is solved. There is a 2nd Disc 5 profile in the database... under a different disc ID. | | | Pete |
