Can't edit a profile "Can not create file c:\profileold.xml"

I just received a strange error when attempting to edit a profile. The error reappears if I click OK or Cancel, making it impossible for me to get out of the profile editing screen.

Any idea what could cause this?

I've got the same issue -- I am running on Vista Ultimate; How about you?

It's going to be fixed in 3.01.

In the meantime, when you launch DVD Profiler under Vista, choose "Run as administator" and you will be able to Edit profiles and avoid this error.

Thank you for your reply, I should've remembered to run it as admin, but I often forget.
