After doing "a little" research, it looks like it is more closely related to "Supervising Sound Editor" than a "Recordist".
So should the descriptor be moved?
Am I misreading?

I believe that the condition "Only use when there's no production sound mixing credit" applies for all the sound recording roles. The Sound Supervisor isn't explicitly forbidden but on the other hand there's this condition that tells us when not to use the Sound credit. Charlie Completely agree! "Sound Supervisor" is often used as a functional equivalent to "Supervising Sound Editor" and listed directly before the rest of the sound editors like "ADR Sound Editors" etc. |
