I want to apologize, in advance, for the problems this is going to cause, but I am not going to be able to maintain that thread any longer.  Things have changed, in my personal life, and my time here in the forums has been reduced quite a bit.  If someone wants to take over, I will see if there is a way for Ken to transfer ownership to that user.

Again, I am sorry for any problems this will cause, but real life has to come first.

First of all thanks for the great work you've done.

And also a thanks to T!M for being the first for giving the helping hand.

Even if the chances are not the highest we will get this, but for further BY it would be the best if Invelos would add a tool for accepted Birth Years.
They know best what they've accepted to be in database and to add a link to the contribution notes with the needed documentation would also be not much work.

Edit: Not to forget, a thanks to Kathy and the other users who helped when you didn't had much time.

I second the vote for T!M.
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

Martian, I hope the issues in your personal life are more positive than negative. I am sorry to hear you won't have as much input as before, but I hope you will continue to have input when possible.

I know I said I would be staying out of the forums other than to check once in a while, but this is very important and one of the most useful threads that exists. I wanted my 2 cents in and a huge vote for T!M.

Ken, please find a way to transfer ownership. TIA.

It would be a shame if that thread got "lost", so please Ken - transfer ownership to T!M so he can maintain the excellence started by Unicus.

First, I want you to know that I hope that the things in your life that are keeping you busy are positive ones. If not, I hope they improve for you.

Second, I thank you for all the time and effort you put in the the BY thread. It is one that I use often and appreciate everything you put into making it an important part of the database.

Finally, Tim, thank you for your willingness to step in and help keep the BY data up to date. If you find you need any help, let me know.

Well said Kathy. I agree wholeheartedly with Kathy on all counts above.

Thumbs up for The Martain and for T!M.

Martain, you've done an AWESOME job in keeping that thread updated! I don't even want to imagine what a mess BY's could be right now if we didn't have that thread and all your volunteer time. You have no worries, real life should come first!

And a big thumbs up for T!M for volunteering to take on the workload! Very kind and generous of him!

Personal life always needs to outweigh things like this. If it doesn't, in my opinion you don't have your priorities straight.

You've done great work here and deserve a break. *grabs a sledge hammer* So... which leg is it gonna be?

Best of luck with life and, of course, stop back in once in a while!

Wouldn't this just be a perfect time to move the BY thread into a new forum dedicated to such issues?
