| Posted: | | | | I hadn't voted on it but have now. Bolding by me - Quote:
Dividers
Dividers allow the segregation of cast and crew into logical groupings. Wherever possible, these groupings should mirror the film credits.
* Use Episode dividers for TV show episodes, distinct films, or other logical episodic distinction. Also use episode dividers for full cast division, such as "Japanese Voices". * Use Group dividers to designate cast grouped in the credits such as "Soldiers" or "Additional Cast". * "Cast", "In order of appearance" or other similar headers at the start of the credits should not be entered. * Also use Group dividers for crew teams, included only if the crew meets the other listing requirements. * Groups should be ended with a "Group End" type divider, unless the next entry begins a new group. Do not add a group end divider at the end of the cast, or at the end of a crew section.
That part to me states that we only use the divider if it's present in the credits. These are individually credited. |

| Posted: | | | | I say individual as well.
I base it on a different part of what has been quoted: "Wherever possible, these groupings should mirror the film credits." Well, if the groupings should mirror the film credits, then likewise not being grouped should mirror the film credits. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | Each is credited individually, so they are entered individually. For it to be a group divider, it would have to look like this:

| Posted: | | | | I thought it was a good idea when Invelos introduced grouped roles for cast - for we did not have to invent singular forms anymore.
In this case the former contributor now invented plural (!) form group dividers, two individual 'Implantee' credits turned into 'Implantees', 'Air Traffic Controller' into 'Air Traffic Controllers', and 'Federale' into 'Federales'.

| Posted: | | | | As per the rules, they are individual credits.
However, if I had to vote on it and it was group credits, I wouldn't vote no. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

| Posted: | | | | Individual credits, definitely, and thanks to bbbbb for fixing this. It's pretty stunning to see the number of people voting against this 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' contribution - including some users I really would have expected to know better than this. I'll have to re-check any divider contributions made by them now... | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | Definitely Individual roles as they appear credited. We don't create groups where none exist. | | | Corey |

BTW I have seen quite a few of these individual roles entered below Group Dividers as of late (can't remember a title off the top of my head now). These will all need fixing. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | I think "Additional Cast" is a particularly bad example, since it is not at all unlikely that the cast under such a header will have individual roles anyway, and they very well may include groups such as "Soldiers". Then what do we do, since nesting is not possible?
I would prefer the lower level ("Soldiers"), since that is more informative than the upper level ("Additional Cast"). In any case, "Additional Cast" is of the same level of relevance as "In Alphabetical Order" which I wouldn't want to see translated into a role either. | | | Hans |
