| Posted: | | | | Well it's currently in the database as The Quatermass Collection which I think is the best title to use. The other one is just too long. It also as 3 Disc Set in the edition field which I'm not so sure about. |

I think this will be a BoxSet so you would have the single titles in the child profiles. Quote: The other one is just too long. Hmm, I just checked and it matches into the title field. |

Bottom right corner has the rating logo. Above that is the DVD logo. Above that it says "3 Disc Set". | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | One thing I have to add: If there are other Quatermass movies out there that are also in a Quartermass Collection package, I would prefer: The Quatermass Experiment / Quatermass II / Quatermass and the Pit with Edition: The Quatermass Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I'm fine with "The Quatermass Collection", but a definite No! to including "3 Disc Set" in any way. Let me quote the rules on what the "Edition" field is for:
The Edition field is for distinguishing between DVDs, and for indicating special versions and collections (for example The Criterion Collection, Widescreen, Full-Screen Edition, Director's Cut). It's usually safe to use one of the built-in selections if appropriate. If you are using a non-standard description, take it from the DVD box, and ensure it will help distinguish between different releases of the same title.
"3 Disc Set" isn't remotely like any of that - therefore, it's not allowed. It's not a special version or collection, and it isn't needed to distinguish between different releases of the same title. We've already got the "Discs" section to show how many discs there are in the set - that's where this information belongs, not in the "Edition" field. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | Well, The Quatermass Collection was my first instinct, but there are two reasons for my hesitation: - The individual titles are much more prominent - Although it's hard to see what's on the spine from the picture, it doesn't seem to have The Quatermass Collection there.
It may not be relevant, but there is another Quatermass Collection out there with different content (an Italian release). It contains the films, while this collection contains the original BBC TV shows. Unfortunately the films and the TV shows have the same names, so using the individual titles doesn't really help in distinguishing these two collections. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Each of the three child profiles is indeed part of "The Quartermass Collection", and should therefore have it in the "Edition" field. The parent (box set) profile, however, isn't part of that collection, but actually is "The Quartermass Collection". As such, there it's the title, not the edition. |

| Posted: | | | | I would vote for The Quartermass Collection for the title, and would not vote no if 3-Disc Set was submitted for edition. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

For the first: For the individual titles there are the child profiles that should get added in this case. For the second: For DVDP title the spine isn't interesting. |

Sure, the child profiles get the individual titles. That doesn't automatically mean that they don't belong to the parent as well. Quote: For the second: For DVDP title the spine isn't interesting. If there is a doubt as to what the actual title of the DVD is, the text on the spine may well shed some light, and in that case it may be interesting. In most cases, though, I would agree with you. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
