The first one has some credits as stunt coordinator in database: Is this a legitim credit or should those be deleted?
It depends on how the credits are set-up. If the stunt co. is within the cast in the end credits, they stay per rules. Before or after cast and they shouldn't be here. |

As far as I'm concerned, a "Stunt Coordinator" is never ever part of the cast. A "Stunt Coordinator" is crew, not cast. The stunt coordinator may be cast the same way a stunt man can be cast because a stunt coordinator may have done some stunts himself in the film besides coordinating them. Even if he does do some stunts, he would not be credited as normal stunt man in addition to the stunt coordinator credit. But stunt people in general are questionable to be cast. While they are often credited in the cast section (at the end with or without gap), we don't know which of the stunt people can really be seen on screen. But handling stunt coordinator any less than a stunt guy is like crediting the sound editor but leaving out the supervising sound editor. | | | Last edited: by RHo |

Not to worry: I don't enter any stunt crew into the cast list (since, again, they're crew, not cast), so that's not a problem. You are correct, of course, and that would indeed be the only time I'd ever enter it. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | FYI: there was a very good rule proposal in the Contribution Rules Committee forum some time ago (right here), which included, among many other improvements, the line "Never include stunt people, even if they are included in the 'standard' credits." Unfortunately, nothing was ever done with this proposal... | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | Why don't we just get rid of the crew list rename the cast list "Credits" and then just enter everyone in the order they are in the films credits and then we can stop having these stupid arguments about who can and who can't be entered |

| Posted: | | | | If I remember correct there was a bigger discussion about Stunt people some time ago and I don't think it makes much sense to discuss this again, because their won't be different arguments.
Without an official statement on this theme their will always be differences and so different profile contributions.
I'll try the next day to make the movie list of these actors to verify the common name. |
