I did pretty well with their Red2Blu (HD to BD) program a couple years ago.  I know i have a couple DVDs i'll never watch again and and there are a couple BDs here that are worth $4.95.

www.highdefdigest.com article

http://www.dvd2blu.com/

BD movies appear to be mostly $4.95, a few for $6.95 and single season series appear to range from $14.95 to $19.95.

I just ordered from there today.  Unfortunately I only found four movies I was willing to spend $4.95 on.

Thanks, tweeter!

I found 15 that I have on DVD that I haven't upgraded yet. The bad news is I found 30 that I already upgraded.

I'm in for the Sarah Connor Chronicles Seasons 1 & 2, and We Are Marshall, all for $36.95 including free shipping.  Pretty sweet deal.
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

Thanks for the tip. Got a chance to replace a couple of titles, including a defective HD DVD of Superman Returns (I assume that it qualifies as well as a DVD would).

Edit: Thanks tweeter, I checked and it was there for $2 less. No matter, I saved a bit on shipping. I can't imagine that they would see a problem with what I did ... whoa, hang on, it was a dual sided combo disc. The DVD was there after all!!!

Not sure about the HD.  They have a long FAQ that says it's only open to the United States and you can't send in blank, home-burned or Adult discs.

If HD was mentioned i didn't notice it.  You could always try their http://red2blu.com.  That FAQ says there is a 25 disc limit (not sure if that is lifetime or per order) but Superman Returns is listed there.

So, do they just send you a BD in an envelope that you have to use your old dvd case for, or do they send you a fully packaged BD like you'd buy in stores, with it's own HD-slim case?
I might do a few for $5 each if they are complete, although I've upgraded too many at $10 sales to get free shipping now I suspect.

From the FAQ:

Q: How are the Blu-ray discs packaged?
A: The Blu-ray discs are the same ones found in any retail store. They come complete with the typical case, cover art, bonus materials, etc.
