How do you capture the preview image to show the 'preview' for a report? |

| Posted: | | | | Long time ago I did it, so I can't remember how I made it.
But this is what should work: Print your report as pdf, then do a copy of the whole page, insert it into a graphic program and save it as jpeg.
Then you can insert it in the Edit report dialogue.

| Posted: | | | | Hi,
This shouldn't work but it does. As VirusPil suggested print a single page to a PDF (I use Cute PDF Writer). Save it to the desktop. Now while still in Reports click the Show desktop icon and double click the PDF. Select Edit and Copy file to clipboard. Now get back to the Edit report window and simply click on the "Paste Preview Image" button. There's some sort of disagreement with the stated image criteria but this works just fine.
