| Posted: | | | | I had no problem installing tha app for my iPhone and originally loading my database from my pc DVD profiler. I am trying to update my database on my iPhone and it will not connect. I also have tried to turn off parental controls on my iPhone and it asks for a password. I used my profiler password and it says it's incorrect. What's goingon? |

| Posted: | | | | Do you have it set up in the PC version to require a password if you are sending changes to the PC? That is probably the password it is looking for. (Under Tools, Options, then Sharing) | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Parental Control: If you didn't set a password, simply leave the field blank and press "OK" .
Connection: Did you check if the IP and port displayed at the bottom of DVD Profiler for Windows matches the IP and port displayed in the app ? |

| Posted: | | | | Are you having trouble with the password or with it not being able to connect? Those are 2 separate issues. If unable to connect, there is an issue at your end with a firewall or hardware (basically a connectivity issue). If you are having trouble with a password, that is a completely different issue.
You might try submitting a technical support ticket with details of your issue. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | I have the same issue. Everything matches as far as the ip, I have no password. Sharing is set to allow changes. I added about 100 DVDs to the iPhone today and then started to get a "unable to connect" pop up. Worked fine earlier today. | | | Last edited: by whotony |

| Posted: | | | | Also I opened a new database and copied into it what I had online. And was able to synch with the iPhone on the 2nd database.
So original doesn't work new does but now I have to re-up 30 or 40 discs into the new db. |

| Posted: | | | | Not able to connect message when I try to update my iphone database. I have been able to do it in the past without any problems. IP address and all still match. As far as the parental password, I had never set one but it asks for one. I tried to remove it and leave the line blank but it wouldn't let me..... |

| Posted: | | | | Had the exact same problem today, but it seemed the IP/server registered on my iPhone was not the same anymore as the one found on the "Shared on" line at the bottom of the Windows version screen. I corrected the ip address in the app on the iPhone, and now it syncs perfectly. |
