My pick would be number 2  ,, but I'm afraid I won't be watching at all .., as My Cable subscriber has to 'abide'  by Canadian law ( via the CRTC) and can only boradcast the game with local and Canadian content.,
No Budweiser No Pepsi Cola , no Doritas ..

So if I did watch I'd be viewing our local Drug Store chain and Electronic emporiums and even these ads would be old retreads from the past few weeks or months ..

I wonder if HULU TV/ Fox Network will be running the game on the Internet in live time??
If so I could use a free feature and Hide my IP identity and watch it on the PC ......

I can't vote in your pole because you don't have my selection. I watch it for the game, but I love the ads and look forward to them. If I had to pick one, it would be the game, but I would miss the ads.

Same boat as mreeder...I watch it for both.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

It's unfortunate that the ads aren't shown in German television (public broadcaster)

Since streaming video became so popular and accessible, I don't think the majority of commercials have been as good as they user to be. Every year they have some good ones, but I remember years where there may have been only one good/fair one and the rest were great.

I watch the game and the commercial, but not so eagerly the commercial anymore. Why concern yourself with possibly missing one of the great commercials when you can just go to the Internet and watch it 5 minutes later?

As with others outside the US we get our own ads which are just the usual home-grown ones so obviously (when I watch) I watch for the game.

I seen a bit of it on beeb 1 so there's no ads. Not sure if any one else in this part of the world was broadcasting it.

Anyway i still don't understand this game lol

I just watched it for the movie ads.

The ones that looked good (going by the trailers only) to me were.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Battlefield: Los Angeles
Super 8
The Adjustment Bureau

The ones that looked sort of iffy to me were.
Thor
Captain America
Some Adam Sandler film.

On the fence about:
Cowboys and Aliens

The one non-movie ad that was really cute was the little boy dressed up as Darth Vader.
