| Posted: | | | | How about cleaning up sticky threads, that have had no new post in them in forever ?
Or if you want to keep things like all the plug in support threads, maybe a sub forum for them?

| Posted: | | | | I sent Ken a PM a while back mentioning a single pinned topic (noticing it was just a fun topic but two-to-almost-three years old) and he removed it. This was before I had really looked over pinned topics on the forum and realized just how badly they were filling up the forum. So I brought up other topics the next day or so all together, but nothing was done about those (but last that one had been removed.)
All further requests made on the forum concerning them has gone unanswered.
Isn't all of the plug-ins being pinned a new thing? I don't remember them covering the whole page the last time this topic was discussed. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | Those kind of things just make people stay away from the forums. I like the software, but the lack of support in the forums is just almost non-existent. Normally I only visit the forums for the Lolcats and similair posts. | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

But maybe, just maybe they will see it now Invelos would have to unstick their own threads, like "Pinned: FAQ: Why the company change?" from 2007, or "FAQ: What's new in DVD Profiler 3.0?" from 2007, or "Pinned: Recent Contribution Rule/System Changes" from January 2010 without any Contribution Rule or System Change. Who would ever look for threads like "Pinned: DVDs Purchased 2008"? | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

I'd love to see a subforum created for each plug in. Because I love having them stickied, but hate that it takes up almost the entire page. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | I think even a list of subforums would wind up being a bit long.
Maybe tree list for pinned, so it could be collapsed?
Or, maybe a Forum for each Developer with published plugins? Anyway, I'm feeling really guilty about making that suggestion to Invelos. They were very responsive and made the change, which fixed one problem, but unfortunately created another. I think, rather than all this negative b'chin and moaning, let's continue to propose solutions. If one emerges that gets a lot of support, maybe that would be something Invelos would be quicker to respond to. I mean, everybody is human and responds better to a positive approach I think. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!!
