| Posted: | | | | So, looking over the list of available countries of origin, it seems I am lacking films from only three of them. Can anyone recommend films available on DVD that were produced in any of the following countries:
Estonia Malaysia Portugal

| Posted: | | | | That list does take care of finding a Portuguese film, thanks Silence. And the other two look quite good ... but don't seem to have a US release. I probably should have said that anything must be Region 1 or 0. I don't have a region free player. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | Maybe this helps. There are 8 films of Manuel de Oliveira with a US release to be found under Director.
Criterion released a DVD of Pedro Costa films.

Anything with a US release from Malaysia or Estonia? | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | Cool, thanks Railroaded! Between those and Sugisball, that's several options for Estonia. Anyone for R1 releases for Malaysia? | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | The Malay Chronicles, which is a Malaysian film, is getting a US release on Sept. 6, 2011 as Clash of Empires. Edit: I just noticed this is the same movie posted by Silence_of_Lambs Quoting Silence_of_Lambs: Quote: For Malaysia you may want to take a look at this one:

| Posted: | | | | That's great! I'm glad to know what the English title. I looked up the Malaysian title on Amazon and all I got was a PAL release. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |
