Hi There,

I understand that DVDProfiler has printing capabilities by downloading various reports,  but as much as I love DVDP, printing is not its primary purpose, so I was looking for a quick and easy way to print DVD covers of various types (DVD w/ thin box, with regular box, on CD,...etc...).

I found a nice and free Italian app called DVD Slim Free 1.7.0.5 for Windows.

DVD Slim Free is a small and easy to use application that allows you to quickly create and print covers. It allows you to print traditional covers for CD's, DVD, VHS, Blue Ray, PlayStation Portable, PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, Standard and Mini-Disc Labels.

I also like the fact that if I enter the movie title, the app goes searching the net to find the appropriate cover I need.

You can download this free app at ZDNet site at:

http://downloads.zdnet.com/abstract.aspx?docid=3426015&tag=nl.e530

but if you google the name, many other sites have it...

Hope this helps.

How is this promoting DVD piracy? I have printed not only a ton of custom covers, but I've also used similar programs when converting from thick case to thin case. Just because some people use it for piracy doesn't mean that's what everyone uses it for. An argument can be made that people use DVD Profiler to keep track of their pirated DVDs. While some may do it, it's used as legitimate purposes as well.

Considering it's a free product, not quite sure how the second part applies, either.

Thanks for the post jclandua, I'm going to check it out and see if it's any easier for what I use now.

If your like alot of cheap DVD buyers you hit the Blockbusters that are closing. They have just the disc with no covers or a case with just the Blockbuster logo on them. I've gotten a few from them or Family video or red box. I buy cases online and download a cover to match the DVD.

Man, I LOVE the closing Blockbusters.

I still have two open in my area and I've been loving the 5/20 blu-ray deals they've been having, too.

My local Blockbuster closed in February.  I bought six Blu-rays (with original covers) for $59.34:

    Dinosaur
    Meet the Robinsons
    Ratatouille
    Sleeping Beauty
    Wall-E
    Star Trek

I thought it was a pretty good bargain.

That is a pretty good deal. I usually go through the older dvds and sometimes there are no cases or artwork. 1.00 each is not a bad deal, sometimes you can find a gem.
