How should "Band of Brothers" (BoB) and "The pacific" be listed and handled?

I have found "The Pacific" as a Boxset, I found one version of (BoB) as boxset and one as TV-Series.

What is correct?
What dates should be used e.g. for the release, when various sets are available?

Should be handled as a TV Series because it is a TV Series.

Production Year = date of first broadcast, DVD Release = date of first release of the specific set.
Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect]

Thanks a lot for your fast response.

Should a TV-Series have multiple DVD-Titles added like a boxset or
should it have just all disks added like typical movies?

EAN 7-321983-001239 (handles BoB like a boxset and adds additional items to the collection) or
EAN 5-05189-0018595 (handles BoB like a movie with multiple disks, doesn't add additional items to the collection.

You add all the discs and episodes to the main profile.  Disc level profiles are optional, into which you may copy the cast/crew, etc.

These UPC's are profiled correctly.

Band of Brothers - 883929023936
The Pacific - 883929080632

A Min series is TV and considered as such.  In the case of a mini-series it is like profiling a single season of a TV series.  All information in the parent profile, and child profiles are optional.

The only time you should see TV as a box set is when there are multiple TV seasons and the seasons are in UPC/EAN based packaging  like "Law & Order: The Complete series" (UPC 025192104008). If  the seasons in the set are NOT in UPC/EAN based packaging it is handled like a regular TV set like this one: Stargate Atlantis: The Complete Series (UPC 883904245254)
