| Posted: July 15, 2012 12:11 PM | | | | About to start tearing hair here... I've been trying to get this working for 48 hours now! What a nightmare! I've bought a new Microsoft laptop spefically to run DVD Profiler. However my iPhone will not sync to it. I have created fixed IP address, and allowed for port forwarding, I've even switched off my Firewall, however after just fifteen seconds of being 'connected' my phone is registered as being idle by DVD profiler. I'm running Windows 7 and the latest version of DVD Profiler for my iPhone. Any ideas here guys and gals? I'm about five minutes off from adding them all manually, but that's not very 21st Century now, is it? |

DVD Profiler is running and sharing IS active. So I'm at a loss here... |

Ensure that sharing is enabled within dvd profiler.
check that the correct IP address (that shown within dvd profiler) is entered on the iphone dvd profiler program | | | Paul |

| Posted: October 16, 2012 1:21 AM | | | | I actually have the same issue. I have checked IP addresses and turned off all firewalls within my router and even done port forwarding. I can tell you this is NOT a firewall (MACs do not have one) or port issue or even IP address problems. Within a few seconds of it linking up to the database on the computer, the computer version stops responding completely and the only way out is to use Task Manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the program and the app. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit thru VMWare Fusion 5 virtual machine on a MAC OS X 10.8.2 and DVD Profiler 3.8.1 and iPhone 5 on iOS 6 and your DVD Profiler app from the AppStore. |

I'll try to find it. Edit: Found the thread. Look here. Not sure if it helps with your problem, but it can't hurt to try. | | | Last edited: October 16, 2012 2:54 PM by SilentBob1138 |

| Posted: October 18, 2012 9:17 PM | | | | I have also windows 7. exactly the same problem with Iphon sync. Firewall disable-----
The first two days everything was working fin until i had added ~ 80 dvds. Know i can sometimes add 1 dvd and sync without problems. but if i like to add more than 1 dvd at once it will happen for sure. then I have to press "alt+tab" to come on desktop or "clt+alt+del" nothin else will work. completly freeze afterwards i can close the dvd profiler 3.8.1 |

Strange that this topic is not adressed in Invelos faq.
See that the problem is adressed in many threads, but none clear solution as I can see.
