I have a contribution in that got a NO vote and I am confident I am correct, but I just wanted to valdidate

It is for I208DECC46D9FD7C4 which is a Disc ID based profile for the 3D disc for UPC 786936805017 "Disney's A ChristMas Carol"

The objection was because I was removing the 3D edition from the Disc ID based child pofile.

Now the parent profile already has no edition and does not have 3D in the title because other than the media banner and the "Disney 3D Blu-ray" trademark logo in the lower right corner.

Now based on Ken's clarifications of titling 3D profiles there should be no edition based on the front cover http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=585852&PageNum=3&messageID=1697026#M1697026

Now that shows the parent correctly does not have 3D in the title or edition (which it already did)

However what I was doing was removing the 3D edition from the child profile containing the 3D disc I208DECC46D9FD7C4

The disc art itself has the title  "Disney's A Christmas Carol" on the upper center of the disc and a "Disney 3D Blu-ray" logo in the center middle (not near the title)

Now I don't think in either case there is an argument to have an edition of "3D" based on Ken's clarifications so that is why I removed it.

I did PM the person that did the NO vote with no response as of yet, so I just wanted to validate that my contribution is correct.

It sounds correct.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Also just to clarify the "Disney 3D Blu-ray" logo looks like this

Although on the slip and disc the coloring is different

I don't know of anywhere where we derive an edition form a logo anyway

Just as a FYI

I did hear back from the person that did vote no.

They did so based on the fact that "Blu-ray 3D" was in the top banner, which we normally refer to as the "media banner"  and not the Disney logo.

I assumed it was just the logo since Ken's clarification thread is very clear on "Blu-ray 3D" in  the medai banner based on this example that is in his post

Quote:

Title: "The Three Musketeers"
Edition: empty
reason: 3D isn't mentioned either in the title nor as an edition
