What would be the DVD-Title here:

Premises:
- "Tatort" is a German TV-series that has several sub-series located all over Germany. "Münster" in this case gives the location for one of the sub-series.
- The Original Title is Tatort: 3x schwarzer Kater. When aired on TV the location is not used.
- "3x schwarzer Kater" is the title of the episode.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Please use the correct order from the cover:

Münster: Tatort: 3 x schwarzer Kater

And in the matter of fact that the credit block on the backcover and the credits have no locality do we add an original title without this locality?

And on the spine we have the edition number. Do we enclose it?
Tatort: 031: Münster: 3 x schwarzer Kater
Tatort: Münster: 031: 3 x schwarzer Kater
Münster: Tatort: 031: 3 x schwarzer Kater
Münster: 031: Tatort: 3 x schwarzer Kater
031: Münster:  Tatort: 3 x schwarzer Kater
031: Tatort: Münster: 3 x schwarzer Kater
and so on.....

??
"Correct" order in this case would be from top to bottom as on cover.
Tatort (for being the main-series)
Münster (for being the location of the sub-series)
3x schwarzer Kater (for being the name of the episode)

Sorry, i'm not a chinese, i read from the left to the right and the first word on the left is "Münster" and the next word is "Tatort".
By the way: On the spine the order is: Münster: 3 x schwarzer Kater: Tatort
Or from top to bottom: Tatort: 3 x schwarzer Kater: Münster

You don't have to.
Simply read it as you would read a book
Starting with the first line on a page (from left to right)
Continuing with the second line (from left to right)
and so forth.

... Irrelevant!

They are on the same line. Tatort is just elevated.

I'm still for "Tatort: 3x schwarzer Kater".

When you check the other Tatort-DVDs with "add by Title" most of the DVDs have not the city in the Title.

And if we go to for the city in the DVD title I vote for "Tatort: Münster: 3x schwarzer Kater".

But who will do the changes? Theres a lot of Tatort-DVDs available...
